Accounting Assistant

Overview: 

The Accounting Assistant position is essential in meeting the company’s accounting paperwork and data entry requirements in an efficient and effective manner. The role plays an integral part in maintaining a strong support system for each of the company’s divisions. The role provides a wide range of accounting, administrative, and executive support related tasks.

Accounting Assistant

  • Intermediate to advanced QuickBooks experience required – contractors version of QuickBooks preferred
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are primary duties
  • Reconciliation of credit card statements
  • Possesses intermediate Excel skills
  • Data entry assistance in all features of company accounting databases
  • Answers incoming calls to our local number and answers the gate
  • Office/Accounting related tasks as assigned
  • Vendor and client contact 
  • Travel and hotel reservations coordination
  • Calendar maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned
